We spent this past weekend at Lake Blaine visiting some of my family. We had a really fun weekend of helicopters, eating cookies, jet skiing, wake boarding, and we even tried out the slalom ski. We were lucky enough to have really nice weather too. My cousin, Michelle, and her husband, Jon were also up for the weekend. Karen and brad came down with us for the first couple of days. Now they are off to Saskatoon for dental school for 4 years! Anyway here are some pictures of the weekend, they tell the story better.
Our little family out on the jet skis! Jadyn didn't really like the idea of the life jacket, but once we got going she forgot about it and loved the ride!
I love this picture of Jadyn sleeping on the boat, she was fighting it for a while and then finally gave in.
This is uncle Richard on the trick skis, he managed to turn right around and ride backwards. It was fun to watch him.
The only difference between this photo and the ones in the magazines is he forgot to flex!
Karen's first time on a wake board, she managed to get up for a little while which is better than we can say for her husband. Sorry Brad, we still love you! ;0)
I love this picture of Karen, what a great smile, it just captures her personality so well!
I can never get a candid photo of Karen because she seems to have this camera radar and she can sense you from a mile away. She loves to pose for the camera as you can see! Brad you are looking good too!
OK the story of the helicopter. We were just out enjoying our boat ride when we noticed a helicopter land in in Richard and Deanne's yard. Apparently Richard has a friend who just bought a helicopter and they were just flying in for a friendly visit. Josh put it best "I think they have different friends than we do" It was hilarious.
