Christmas tree set up

Well last night was the night, we decided to put the tree up for Family Home Evening. Josh asked me in the middle of it, what day is it again? I said November 20th, and he said ok just making sure you knew. Apparently he thinks it is too early to start celebrating. I call him scrooge! We actually had a lot of fun and listened to Christmas music. Too bad Jadyn was sleeping for it because she goes to bed at 6:00pm. But she enjoyed waking up to it this morning! I put the lights on for her and she just stared at it for so long, then she tried to play with the balls so I had to put them higher up.

I can't wait to watch all my Christmas movies and drink my mom's sultans punch!

Here is a picture of the tree. I realize the star doesn't match but it is all I have for now, I am going to have to go shopping for a star that matches now!

Khaled helped us decorate the tree, he had a lot of fun. It is his first Christmas tree and his first Christmas in Canada.

I am so happy that others are also putting up their trees! I felt like I should wait until Dec 1st but I don't think I will now! I love the tree!

I keep seeing people's trees and I want to put one up too. But Dallas and I are really strict on having a real tree, so we'll just have to wait! Or have a very dead tree!
Your's looks really good! It must have been really fun for Kalhed to help. I think it would be fun to share in another country's tradition!

Wow, your tree looks great!! I love the ribbon on it...I do that on mine too! I'm going to decorate on Dec 1st. That's my rule, but only cause if I didn't have a rule I would have skipped Halloween and gone straight to Christmas.

Your house looks cute too, I love the wall colours!

Thanks Meagan, a compliment from you about my tree really means a lot since I know that come December 1st you are going to have a Martha Stuart look alike picture of a tree posted on your blog!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas. I'm jealous, you guys have your house all Christmasy and we still haven't setup anything. Maybe it's because I'm still in shock that christmas is already here... holy fast year batman! Oh, and I was also very confused when I first saw Kalhed in your picture, glad that was explained!

P.s- I just got a letter today saying that our Condo had been delayed until April. UNBELIEVABLE! That'll make it 10 months late :( So much for chilling in the same ward.

Oh, and Josh, you wanna play ballhockey? I'm registering a team in the University Intramurals.. lemme know asap!
