On Saturday we went to get Santa photos. I hadn't thought much about getting them done until I saw an add that the community center here was having a cookies with Santa day where you could get pictures done with Santa and it was free! So I got Jadyn all dressed up for Santa pictures and went down there. I walked in and we looked at Santa, got a little disappointed, and walked right out. Santa was really ghetto! he was probably no more than 30 years old sitting on a plastic chair in front of a plain wall, not a single Christmas tree or decoration in sight! We couldn't believe it. So we opted to go for a visit at the mall instead. This Santa was more interesting and Jadyn had fun playing in the play area and then when it was her turn she walked right up to Santa pointing and babbling. I was excited that she looked like she was going to be good for the pictures. I picked her up and plopped her on his lap, and that was the end of it, she arched her back and wiggled her way out of his arms, poor Santa was so startled he almost dropped her, as she was screaming and crying! The only way she would settle down is if I sat on Santa's lap and she sat on my lap hence the lovely mom and Jadyn Santa photo above. It wasn't quite what I had in mind but it will do!She's definately got a mind of her own!

So cute, I love her dress. Don't worry, you look good in the picture and it turned out really well.
I still love the picture! Even though I feel partly responsible that you decided to get the pictures,we will have to try again next year!
ha they sure do have minds of their own eh?? I bet Santa thought it was his lucky day to have you sitting on his lap.. That is why those Santa's do it you know... Cause they know some kids wont do it unless mom is there.. haha
