Last friday we went down to Fort Macleod for the day to visit Josh's Grandma. Karen and Brad, Joanne, Paul and the Speidel's were there . We had a yummy lunch and then played rook for the afternoon before heading back home.
On Saturday Josh and I and Jadyn headed out to Banff with Karen and Brad for the day. We had planned on skating but when we got there we discovered that the skating rink was flooded, so we just we to the Banff Springs Hotel to look around and finished off with the hot springs. That night we went to the stake New Years eve eve party and sang karaoke, ran relay races (in those blow up things for parties), danced, and ate lots of pizza. It was a good little party and I got some killer floor burns from the racing. (I think it was from when my mom took me out because I was beating her, talk about competitive ! ;0)
New Years eve we had some people over to my parents house (they are in Arizona so we took over their house) We played pool, X-Box, and good old fashioned cranium!
Yesterday we decided to head out to Strathmore for the day to visit Josh's family. We played games ALL day. Settler's and Rook. I didn't think I could be so gamed out! But it was really fun.
Here is a photo of this awesome tile that my mom got us for Christmas, I love what it says and looks so great in our house. Thanks mom!
These too:
Until next time!

Cute things(the plaques) and it was so good to see you!! by the way, settlers is sooo fun and I dont know if it is just me and the Rawlins family but I HATE rook now - they are SO competative!!
Love your Christmas presents from your mom, so cute! Glad you had a great Christmas/New Years.
You will have to ask your mom how she made the plaque, i love it! I am sorry we missed out on New Years ever bash, looked like fun!
Hi, this is Josh's cousin, Cari. I got your blog address from Grandma and the card you sent to my parents. I've loved reading your blog and seeing all of your family. I miss the Christmas celebrations we used to have at Grandma's house in Orton! I'm glad the tradition continues!
