In our house we love...
raspberries! The kids can't get enough of them. usually they are gone before we even leave the store, but this time we managed to get them home to eat. Not only are they great to eat, but they are fun to eat! The girls put them on their fingers and eat them off every time. It is always a game they play together and usually starts and ends with giggle fits by both of them... needless to say it is worth the money buying raspberries in December!
A few weeks ago we sat down and made this:
After it was finished I needed to eliminate the temptation and it lived on top of the fridge for the rest of the month with good intentions of delivering it to the neighbour boys, but out of sight also meant out of mind for me and we forgot and it ended up in the trash last night. but at least the time spent building it was fun!
Christmas baking, we loved it! Jadyn was old enough this year to help out and to be my little taste tester. She was really good at the taste testing part! Oh and if you like the adorable apron she is wearing you can find it hereThe weekend before Christmas we got together with the Taylor clan and spent the weekend doing talent shows, gift exchange and lots of gaming and eating! There is never a Taylor get together without games and good food! I hardly noticed jadyn all weekend while she playd with her cousins. i joked that i can never get her to get her coat and boots on when we need to get out fast enough, but when I told her we were going to Grandma Taylor's house to see her cousins, she couldn't get it on fast enough! She also got to have a special time with Grandpa Taylor and the girls cousins at the dollar store where she got to pick out a treat and a toy. Grandpa Taylor has a very loved tradition of taking the kids out on special times as often as he has a chance. The kids adore him for it!
Jadyn sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with her cousins for her talent. You can also check out her performance at her Preschool concert:
Haha, she was acting so shy! Sweet girl!Christmas eve we stayed up pretty late partying, so Christmas morning we had a lot of these faces:

But when we started opening presents and she met Mr. Life sized dog, things got better...
It was basically love at first sight... ok second sight because I let her cuddle him at IKEA when I bought him a month ago. Jadyn did a lot of squealing that morning.
Showing off her Polly pockets. At the festivities at my parents place that day:
They were all working so hard making Christmas dinner while I worked hard taking photos! Josh is making his "famous mashed potatoes"
Heidi sneaking a hand hold with baby Eliza!
Mike and Caleb trying to figure out the whole feeding thing with Eliza. It was going really well... until she did a huge spit up all over Mike!
Heidi eating her usual frozen peas to tame her teething troubles.
A sneak peak from my photo shoot with Eliza a couple weeks ago. SHE IS A DOLL!!!! At 3 1/2 weeks old she is still smaller than both my babies at birth. Oh and I can't forget (even though I don't have a photo) Josh and I celebrated 5 YEARS of marriage last night!!! We went for a romantic dinner and then saw "Seven Pound" Awesome movie, I would definately recommend it! We had a fun evening away from the kids while Cherisa and Jordan were kind enough to babysit for us. Thanks guys!

fun post! I love the raspberries...I can just picture them in hysterics over it. I'm certainly impressed though - I can't even justify buying them in the summer nevermind the winter. But man, they are yummy :D
Thanks for the site plug - the apron looks really cute on her. I bet she loves wearing it to help you out in the kitchen.
