Our life...

Last night we went to Josh and Nicole's to go see the new baby. She was the smallest baby I have ever seen, 5 lbs. So skinny minnie and adorable. Words cannot describe. As I sat there holding her and watching her sweet little movements and steady breathing, I silently thanked Heavenly Father for the beautiful gift of life we have been given. What a blessing little children are and how amazing it is that we are trusted as parents to take them into our hands to nurture and love! It is fun seeing my brother as a new dad. He is so smitten by her.
Trying to get a "Tagg cousins" group shot was impossible! Here Heidi is pinching the poor things nose! (she slept through it all!)

Jadyn loved her and wanted to touch her face and hands and give kisses and love. She really wanted her to get down and play but I told her we would have to wait until she is a little older! She is pretty excited to have a new cousin. Today she asked if we could go see baby Eliza again and wondered out loud if she is sleeping or crying.

Tonight I spent some time online checking out some projects I want to work on. I am trying to dust off my sewing machine and start a few things I have been wanting to do. While checking things out I found a project on the list to do with Jadyn this week. These crayons look so fun and jadyn would love to work on this with me, she is so interested in coloring anything so it will be fun to have some new crayons to work with. And since I will have to get rid of some of the older crayons for this project, I'll be going to buy some new ones to use for this, which Santa will probably be leaving this year. (Mine will have a few alterations) It'll be good for Church and quiet times. She also has a tonne of other fun ideas for projects, I could spend hours on there!

Tonight I had the opportunity to go to the Christmas devotional for my church. It was great to listen to the First Presidency message for us. Amazingly enough between jadyn asking for water every 30 seconds and Heidi trying to feed me her crackers I actually got a lot out of it! They really are inspired men leading the church. I am thankful every day to be a part of this gospel.

I love those crayons...and they are super easy and fun to do. jadyn will have a blast....I remember doing them a few years ago with the boys...and the crayon pouch is really cute (I thought you thought they were lame though???). I'm excited to see the fabric you choose. sometimes that's the most fun part!! Of course I have a bit of a fabric addiction too - or could if i let myself. Just showing restraint. LOL

and baby eliza is sooo sweet!! how fun that jadyn thinks about her so much! it'll be fun to see the 3 girls grow up together!
