First Zoo day of the year!

Last Saturday (yes it took me a week to publish this post!) I woke up and decided to do something fun with the girls, so I called up a friend of mine and we met up an hour later at the Zoo. It was such a beautiful spring day! I was so happy later that night that we had gone since it snowed all night and into the next day and now there is still snow everywhere. Go figure. The last time we went to the Zoo was over a year ago so it was fun this time now that the kids are older and more interested.

I couldn't decide which face of Elizabeth's was the funniest checking out those Geese. She just had so many faces trying to figure that thing out! What a cutie!

This is the Goose squacking at them for getting too close, they still didn't budge.



Heidi loved it and even sat down right there to watch for a long time, so cute!

This is about how interested Jadyn was in the giraffe's. meanwhile Heidi is freaking out in my arms over them.
There is a playground at the Zoo with different section, the first is the "under 2" section, then there is the "3 to 5" age group and finally the "6 to 12" well i encouraged Jadyn into the 3 to 5 group obviously pointing ou all the fun thing, but fo course she ha a mind of her own for adventure and she immediately was drawn to the 6 to 12 section and off she went. Here she is exploring with the big kids!
