I can't seem to find it in me to post as life goes along.
Last weekend was Josh's birthday. We went to Calaway Park for Jadyn's sake of course on the opening day. When Jadyn was Heidi's age she jumped on every ride and was fearless about anything asking to go on the big roller coaster and everything. She is still loving it there and excited to be a little taller to try out some of the bigger rides this year. Heidi is a different story. We took her on her first ride and she cried through the whole thing, and wouldn't step foot on another ride the whole day! Even the Merry go round which I took her on, I sat on the bench park rather than a horse, and she just kept saying "all done, all done" over and over for that. And she was on my lap! Poor girl. It is unreal how different these two are! I was not expecting this reaction out of her! Josh thought she was just tired as she had been up early that day, but I guess time will tell if she is like that every time or just this once. Last year she even had fun on the rides when she was just barely a year old. Cute Jadyn waiting in line for the airplanes.
That night we went to Jessica's for a bbq and spent the evening with her family and our friend Sue and her little ones. They surprised Josh with a yummy birthday cake with 28 candles. I had to get a photo of this cake because we were all laughing so hard at how the lady at the store wrote the birthday message! So off centre and chicken scratch! Haha!
Then last Sunday Josh got his gift from the girls and I. A whole chef ensemble! Complete with the chef style jacket, apron, and don't forget the hat! He loved it!
Then this past weekend we got together with my brother and sister and planted mom and dad's garden since they aren't here to do it. It was so much fun all working together and it looked great afterward! You'll have to take my word for it since I didn't take a picture! Here is one of Cherisa and I in the middle of the grind.
The girls like to play in the dirt, but just to prove that although they like to get dirty they are still my girly girls:
Only the brightest pink nail polish will do for my sweet Jadyn
And the classic dirty garden feet of course topped of with the beautiful pedicured toenails!
Later that day we headed to the river for a BBQ and some fun in the water. We tried to get a photo of all the girls in their matching dresses, but if you think that is an easy thing to do after a full days work and some tired kids, think again! We couldn't possibly ask for all thee for them to look at the camera at the same time could we? Or even one of them?
At least they had fun throwing rocks in the water.
I love this photo and wish that I had had Jadyn in focus instead of Heidi. She was obviously thrilled with something Cherisa just told her.
Thanks Cherisa for the fun visit!
Baby Eliza and her beautiful blue eyes!
And this is what out life looked like yesterday:Sick sick sick, but somehow Jadyn still managed a smile. What a trooper! Heidi was still a little subdued.

I too am always playing catch up. I was the same, my sister was an all out go getter and then there was me terrified of all the rides screaming crying. I was a huge chicken. Still kindave am not just in park rides either. Oh, for our camera we got a Canon Rebel XSI. Love it. Wish I had it years ago. I need to really learn more and try different things. I barely even use the camera to its potential and it isn't that fancy either compared to most.
Wow, long post! Sound like you guys have had so much fun. I like the new baby tracker... it is cuter. Have you heard of cakewrecks.com? If you have a good picture of Josh's cake, you should submit it. The girls look cute in their matching dresses - I know it is hard to get a good one of all of them. Wish we could come and play with you!
I also love your new prego counter! way cute!
The picture of your little girl throwing rocks in the river is beautiful, you have such a gift for photography! One of these days I'll learn :D
Happy Birthday to Josh!
