Randomness

Here are some tidbits into the life of the Taylor family. This last while has been feeling calm on some days and completely insane other days. Sometimes I just get through the days in a blur, and other days I feel refreshed and energetic. I guess that is life with 3 kids under 5. It's so fun though and I wouldn't have it any other way. These girls and josh are what keep me going every day. The girls especially love to have their cousins and friends over for play dates. Last week they got a two in one. You would think I am crazy to commit to this but you have to understand that when kids are over it is so much easier because they all just play with each other and leave me to clean the kitchen or whatever needs to be done. So last week we had my niece and nephew over and Jadyn's little friend from church, and this is what I found them doing upstairs:

Jumping off Jadyn's bed onto Heidi's bed (she now has a single mattress on the floor.) What wouldn't you give to be a 2-4ish year old??? All this with Mya fast asleep in the room next door. I tell ya 3rd babies can sleep through anything!

For the last month or so Heidi refused to have the bed railing on the side of her bed, so about twice a night (once before I go to bed and once after mya's early morning feeding) I would go in to check on the girls and find a scene similar to the one below. It actually got to the point where I was surprised to find her still in her bed. Sometimes I would find her hanging over the edge and would watch her amazed that gravity somehow hadn't gotten ahold of her and pulled her to the ground, it was as if she was suspended on the side of the bed in mid air. She must be exhausted now that she isn't napping that when she finally goes to bed she is in a really deep sleep. I don't know how the thump of falling out of bed doesn't wake her up? Anyway needless to say this is why we got her a bigger bed and are leaving it on the floor for the time being!

Is it just me or is Mya growing up waaaay to fast? I can hardly believe she is 3 1/2 months old! This is a photo of her a couple weeks ago, her first time in the bumbo! Yay!

A very momentous occasion that I had to photograph are some successful whole wheat buns! This must have been on one of the more energetic days...

Other than that we just stick to the regulars. Preschool, swimming lessons once a week and ballet. Oh and Heidi does ballet now too. Actually she started 2 months ago. One day she went in when there weren't to many people there that day so the teacher invited her in. It just kills her to watch from the window every week. Well she followed all the instructions and did everything the older girls were doing. So one of the moms suggested I just enroll her because I am not going to be able to keep her out of there now that she has had a taste of it. So I talked to the teacher about it and she said she thought it was a great idea. So Heidi is now officially her youngest ever ballet student! And she does great! She has lots of "moves". Ok so preschool ballet is actually a lot of running around, stretching, and waving fairy wands in the air. But still we like to think we are raising talented and graceful dancers at this early age, right?

Mya loves it when we stroke her nose for some reason, it always get a smile out of her (pretty much just looking at her gets a smile out of her, she is such a social butterfly already!) This is her talking face, Jadyn is stroking her and she does this funny thing with her lips and gurgling sounds come out. I wish I could decipher what she is saying!

This is what happens on those more blurry days. I forget I have eggs boiling on the stove, and go downstairs to play barbies with the girls, and come back up to a stinky kitchen :(

Heidi and her hot chocolate mustache. Mostly I just wanted to share this smiling photo, because Heidi rarely smiles for the camera!

Out skating on a warmer day this month. Check out Mya's little finger on the second one :)

Here are some photos of Jadyn playing outside that I liked.

I am not sure about this photo, but I do love that cute little pouty face!

what a fun post! I love that Heidi is in dance too - I bet she LOVES it!

I love playdates too for that exact reason - I don't think you're crazy at all! Looks like they had a blast jumping on the bed!

I love mya's pouty face!!! And the photos of Jadyn outside!! It's kind of great that Heidi can just roll out of bed and never wake up, she is so low maintenance! Elizabeth never falls out of her huge high bed but she gets angry in the middle of the night if her covers aren't just right....Mya is getting so big but she is always so dainty and precious she looks a lot like Heidi now! She is going to have so much fun with her sisters! That's so fun that Heidi got to join ballet!! I'd love to see pictures of the girls together in their gear!!! Sooooo cute!!!!
