I keep forgetting to blog about my quilt. A few weeks ago
Sandra dropped of my quilt, all done! Although I did all the patchwork (with under her guidance) She did the quilting and binding for me as I am (ahem) not quite as experienced as her and she didn't "trust" me to do it myself since I chose minky on the reverse side and it is hard to work with. Bless her heart she is pregnant with her 5th child and finishing my quilt for me! What a lovely lady. I am so lucky. So without further adieu, a photo of the finished product on display in the nursery:

Also notice the lovely lavendar walls Josh painted for me and the special newborn photos compliments of
Heather Ward.

Wow! That quilt is beautiful. I wouldn't trust myself to finish it either...

love it!!! nice job to you and Sandra :) I love quilting
awe nice work!!
it looks beautiful...I love the colours!
Great job Laura! I love the pattern. You did a great job - picking fabrics and putting it together.
Now you'll have to do one without minky for a back and quilt it yourself - that's the best part!! I hate binding though.
Can you post a bigger picture of the quilting?? I know you didn't do that part, but I'd love to see what Sandra did.
