I love being a mom

On Friday Jadyn's preschool had a Mother's day "tea" They did a special performance and then treated all the moms to some cake and punch. It was sooo cute. I just loved being a mom especially in that moment. She was so cute singing up there with her class and doing all the actions. At the end of the musical performance each of the kids lined up to get the cake to serve their moms, and they all had special handmade gifts. The centerpieces were a Styrofoam cup turned upside down with a tissue paper rose attached to a pipecleaner inserted in it, I should have taken a picture, it is pretty cute. The gift was a bracelet inside a cute jewelery box. It was a lovely "tea"!





Then yesterday we celebrated by visiting Josh's mom first at his grandmothers place and visiting with them, and then we went to my parents house where josh and my brother, Josh (I knwo it gets confusing sometimes!) made some Mexican food for all of us. IT WAS DIVINE! I love it when Josh cooks Mexican. The girls all did up some cards and alot of art work while I was sleeping in (also divine) in the morning. It was a fun day and I LOVE being a mom! I feel so lucky to have three beautiful daughters that I get to care for and be with every day! I think they are about the best kids I could ever ask for! I am also so lucky to have the best MOM in the world. She is such a thoughtful and caring person and is always willing to bend over backwards to help me out when I need it. I also have the best mother in law in the world. All the mother in law jokes don't apply to her at all. She is absolutely wonderful in every way.
