Canada day. My parents hosted a BBQ and a golf tournament in Kananaskis for the men while the women shopped. So fun. My aunt accidentally almost drove us to BC so we got very little shopping done, however the drive with all those ladies was worth it, so fun! I introduced my cousin in law to lulu lemon, I couldn't believe she hadn't heard of it! I guess it hasn't make it debut in the US yet! My other aunt asked me what makes Canada day. Like independence day is when the US because a country, but Canada day is also when Canada became a country too right? Except that we didn't fight for anything, and Britain just basically wanted to be rid of us and told us to break away. So we did. It's really something to celebrate right? Right??? I love being Canadian. SO I decided to be patriotic and bought the girls all Canada Day shirts. They loved them.
This photo is random. Mya loves eating her smoothie popsicles but she has to eat them outside for obvious reasons, I wonder what I will do in the winter?
Some fun times are the Ranch Centre. Mya doing her army crawl through the wading pool.
Auntie Nikki playing with Heidi, the girls LOVE NIkki.
Sunbathing?
And we spent a weekend camping with the McCance's and the Saffron's which was so fun and I hope we make it a tradition. They have an RV so it is fun to camp with them, especially in the rain!
Heidi and Hailey are only 6 weeks apart
The kids all eating dinner
Showing off their skills
Heidi and daddy
And the week following that camping trip I went on an all girls camping trip with my cousins, sister, and sister in law. That was a riot too and ever thought the entire second half was full of rain, hail, thunder and lightning, and a big mess we made the most of it and had a fun time! I forgot my camera this trip so I stole photos off Hailey and Radelle's facebook (thanks ladies!)Nikki started up an evening story time with the kids, they all loved her!
And during our Hail storm, we all gathered in the tents, but that sure didn't stop the fun!
And then the week after that we went to Salmonarm, BC in the Okanagan with josh's sister and their family and it was gorgeous there! Pus 30 the whole time and we enjoyed every minute of it (except being eaten alive by mosquitoes)
We spent the first day at the beach. Surprisingly Mya hasn't eaten all that much sand given how much sand she has been exposed to this summer! It is definitely tricky camping and beaching it with a crawler, I would prefer walking but I guess I'll get that next year!

Mya and her uncle Nathan, he is always so good with my babies! Look at how happy she is! (even though her bathing suit is clearly to big and falling off, or maybe that is the look she was going for?)
And then we spent an entire day at this amazing splash park/playground. the kids loved every minute. Heidi mostly hung out in the water and Jadyn made some friends and mostly played at the park, I hardly heard from her all day! I couldn't decide on the photos of Heidi because they were all so cute, so here they all are together!
Jadyn, Heidi, James
The water was so freezing but felt so good on this hot hot day!
Mya loved the swing!
Heidi taking a break form all the excitement.
Laura and Adam having some cuddle time :)
Then we spent one day at some waterslides we found in town. They were a great finish to a fun week!I can't get enough of this smile!
James was such a nice helper, he sure loves taking care of his younger cousins, and they soak it all up, especially Heidi!
Jadyn and I coming down the slide, yes I like to pretend I am 10, it makes it more fun!
I am posting this photo for one reason, it give the complete false illusion that I am thin at the moment, which I am not!
Laura and Adam
Heidi and I playing "crocodiles" in the water, the girls have this fascination with crocodiles lately, I think she is eating me here.
I love the way Heidi is looking at Mya here. I am pretty sure she would give her life for Mya, she loves her that much!
Adam and Jadyn enjoying some breakfast on our last morning there!
The Dorwards bought a puppy that they found in Vernon while we were there, so we got to play for the last couple days with it, it was such a novelty for all the kids!
There are two things I love about this photo. The first is Heidi looking at Jadyn admiringly. The second is her toes!
The last morning before we drove home, we went to a cherry orchard around the corner from our campground. It was awesome to watch the kids climbing up and picking cherries, they thought it was SO FUN, and it was!
I couldn't resist!

We came home with a cooler full of cherries (50 lbs)! We pitted, cut and dehydrated about half of them, froze some for smoothies and ate the rest. Yummy!

After: (this was just the first batch!)
And we spent a day at Big Hill Springs Park last week with Josh's brother and his kids. I love this photos of Jadyn and Issac. They are buddies for life!
And I love how Heidi was being so cute with me for these shots!
I hadn't been taking my camera to Calaway Park this year since I already have so many pictures of Jadyn from last year and Heidi is usually to scared to go on anything, however this last weekend she went on a ride with me and somehow overcame her fear and went on a bunch more without me. Good thing I had my camera phone handy!
And Mya who has never fallen asleep in the stroller in her life I am pretty sure (OK since Mexico when she was 2 months old!), decided to doze off while we were in line for the last ride! Little stinker! (and yes those are mosquito bites taking over her forehead!)
I am pretty sure that was the longest post in history, did you survive it???
