On Saturday night we went to the Primary Party/Trunk or treat. Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year our ward did a trunk or treat on Saturday night. (and on Halloween night I put a bowl of candy on the front porch and had my kids all tucked into bed by 7:00 :) I was wiped after having been to a Halloween Party at the YMCA that afternoon following 3 photos shoots that day and by the looks of the kids they were also pretty tired. We just grabbed a costume lying around (out of the dressup box) and flew to the party. The girls don't know the difference, and I only cared after we got to the party and saw all the other kids done up so cute. Ah well, there's always next year right?!
This is my favorite costume of the day. When Christ s standing he is 6'7, and Savanna is Heidi's 3 year old best buddy, so Clifford and Emily Elizabeth was the best idea they could have come up with!
Miss Heidi in the parade around the church gym right behind the washing machine! I am not sure what she is dressed up with, but the skirt was something Jadyn got at a birthday party last week, there are wings too so I suppose she would have been a fairy if she had wanted to wear the wings, which of course she didn't!
Tigger and Pooh bear. I got the pooh bear costume at a garage sale this summer for $1. no judging that my little baby looks like a boy in her too small costume. Josh and I showed up costumeless but luckily Alysha let him borrow her Tigger costume for a few pictures! Aren't they cute?
Jadyn in the parade sporting her ballerina dress.
And I helped out in Jadyn's classroom for her Halloween party last week. It was so fun! She goes to a great school.
The whole class!
And Heidi also had a preschool Halloween party. Her best friend in the class is the hamburger beside her. She talks about her constantly and evenhad her first play date with her last week! (as a side note I had planned on staying with her at the play date as she had had her over to our house the week before and the mom stayed around, but when we got there she told me to go and wouldn't give in. And when I picked her up, she ran away form me at the front door because she didn't want to leave. I guess she decided she wants to be big girl like her sister! It was kinda sad to see her so independent but I also enjoyed doing errands on my own :)
The whole class, and yes that is Heidi sitting on the ground not joining in the group picture. Have I ever mentioned ow stubborn she has gotten????
Maybe a nap was in order?
I am already thinking up costumes for the three girls next year since they will all be walking, I have at least one great idea.... until then!
