Mya's first birthday!

*** I forgot to mention that I hired out that cake, I did not make it! A friend of mine, Diane made it for me! It was sooo yummy! Yes I had a taste after Mya was finished with it :)


I can't believe my little one is a year old already! Mya has added such a special light to our family. I always tell josh that I don't know what we would do without this little girl. She has such a fun and spunky personality. Almost always has a smile on her face for anyone that pays attention to her, however that smile is only from a distance, if anyone other than mom or dad try to take her away from our arms there is trouble!

Some milestones:
-she is starting to take some steps recently and is such a cute little walker. It is fun to watch the light in her eyes when she successfully walks from one location (a piece of furniture) to the next.
-she sleeps through the night and takes 2 naps a day. She is currently teething and not sleeping quite so great but what can ya do.
-she loves to eat, her favorites are veggie soups, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, carrots, pancakes, cheese, broccoli, the list goes on...
-she loves to get into her sisters stuff and mess up their toys, they are pretty tolerant but sometimes they pick her up and carry her to us asking us to play with her. I knew the day would come, and am glad it took this long! In no time she will be keeping up with them and playing dolls and dress up right along with them.

Have I mentioned that I love having girly girls?
