Sweet things

I guess I have been so busy addressing Christmas cards that I have forgotten to blog! That and I haven't taken many photos lately, and it seems if I don't have a picture to tell a story around, I forget the stories. Life has been busy though! Between showings, and a LOT of them, me and the kids getting sick, school, photography, Christmas shopping, Super Saturday preparations, volunteering at the schools and the YMCA... things have been feeling a little hectic. I love to be busy though so it works.

Tonight after I put all the kids to bed, I still heard Jadyn up rummaging around, I went to see what she was doing, and this is what she had created. It brought me back to my childhood. I used to set up forts with my blankets and extra pillows and make my bed all cozy and fun, and looks like she is following in my footsteps Although I was never creative enough to use the curtain (or maybe I just never had a curtain that long!) She had all her stuffies lined up and had grabbed some extra blankets to work with. Anyway it was precious. I love that little girl, she is getting so grown up!!!




Yesterday Heidi and I started some Christmas baking while Mya napped and Jadyn had a friend over. I always love my one on one time with each of the girls, we don't get it a lot but it is so fun to see their sweet personalities shine through when they are given my undivided attention. Love being a mom! It's hard sometimes (a lot!) but I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I feel so lucky.
