Jadyn and Heidi made daddy some more cards. Mya celebrated by stamping her hand.

And then she tried to eat the entire thing to herself.
(do I see a sneaky hand in there?) It was a fun day!My birthday present to him was a night in Banff! We actually had a gift card he received from work that paid for it, so I guess my gift was booking the babysitter (aka my mom) and the hotel (Banff Springs) I am a high roller. We had fun. We ate lots of yummy food, slept in, and did a small hike, and just enjoyed the weather and the peaceful time alone! Thanks mom!
While we were there we went to the best resaraunt ever. I am not even kidding, even Josh said it is the best restaurant he has ever eaten at. It was this cute little vegetarian/vegan/raw food cafe in the middle of Banff. We found in on Google looking for something healthy to eat before our hike. We were both so impressed. I only had my iphone with me so excuse the pictures but the food was really good, the pictures don't do it justice. If you are ever in the area you have to check it out!! I actually wanted to go back for dinner once we were home, I will definitely make sure I visit there any time I am in Banff in the future!! So yummy!!!

Sounds like a fun 30th! I didn't realize Josh was so OLD! Just kidding, Doug also turned 30 this year. Are your shoes Toms? What do you think of them?

Happy Birthday Josh! i have heard about that restaurant and I have wanted to try it out! I have heard that it was really good. what did you eat? You will have to try this italian restaurant in Banff, too. They make their noodles at the restaurant and everything was so fresh!! it was so yummy! i can't remember what the name of it is.
