Jadyn had been asking me for weeks to do a lemonade stand, but since we have had so much rain I kept putting it off. Last week we started having some REAL summer weather, so as soon as the first hot day came, Jadyn started asking again for the lemonade stand. It is so cute. She also asks every day if we can have a garage sale. That to me is out of the question. I am so good at purging things that I don't think I could ever really have one. Plus they seem like so much work!
Anyway the day of the lemonade stand finally came, Heidi and I spent the afternoon making cookies while Jadyn was at school. The girls and I made some yummy fresh squeezed lemonade and we parked ourselves at the park by our house for better exposure and packed a picnic dinner while we sat and waited for the thirsty customers!
The girls were so cute. Josh was training them and each time a car drove by they would try to wave them in. SO many people stopped and they had so much fun. Every time a new car pulled over, Heidi would get so excited and frantially go to grab a new cup from the wagon and start filling it up, no saying hello what would you like, she was too excited for small talk and she had a job to do! They had a riot, and we had fun watching/helping them.
