Beach day

After two full days of Disneyland we had to switch it up and do a beach day. I took Mya back to the hotel for her nap part way through and got some laundry done and relaxed a but. I hadn't realized I also took the sunscrean back with me which was in my purse, so the girls and Josh were burnt to a crisp by the time I got back! They don't usually even burn much, but by the beach, completely exposed with no protection, all day... ouch! So as soon as I came back everyone was lathering up but I am afraid it was too late for some of them ;(. The girls loved collecting seashells and came home with so many! They made so many things in the sand and even played with the seaweed making who knows what!

Coincidentally we were in California for the EXACT same days as Josh's aunt and uncle and cousins, they even took the week before to spend in Utah just like we did. It was so crazy!! We figured it out part way through in Utah so we planned to do the beach day together. Funny how things like that happen!


The girls fed the seagulls bread and then chased them away! What a fun game, right???


And who doesn't love a good cuddle at the end of a fun day!
