Bowness Park and Skating

This past week we had a special visitor from Mexico city! One of josh's friends from his mission came for the week and we took him all around the "sites" of the area. First stop Bowness Park. We fed the ducks, threw rocks in the river and Omar loved looking at the trees and the changing colours and the beauty this time of year brings! He planned his trip specifically at this time of year so that he could see the changing colours.

Josh teaching Jadyn how to skip rocks.

A lady bug spotting.

After Bowness Park we met up with my brother and sister at the Ovalf or some skating! i didn't realize how bad we all are at skating, but Omar has never been in his life so it was a great opportunity to all go! Jadyn keeps asking to go back. Even though she should have been very frustrated by the end of the night, she pressed on and was determined to do it! She is a spirited one!

Mya didn't last more than about 10 seconds on her skates ;)

Omar caught on quickly!

And of course Jordan showed us all up since he plays hockey and is pretty much a professional.

Heidi got really tired of being pushed around in the stroller all night! Jadyn is still working hard!!

That a girl!
