New Years 2012

We had a little get together at our house this year. It was great for the kids to be able to be a part of the fun and great for the adults to chat and play games! We love games. We play games any chance we can get! I am pretty cure Mya has not stayed up past 9:00pm a day in her life but she was happy running around with all the kids until 10:30! And then she slept until noon the next morning. Horray for 1:00 church! I put on a special new years celebration for the kids at 9:00pm just in case anyone wanted to take kids hoe to bed late. We ended up partying with most of the kids until midnight anyway though! I saw this idea on "Our best bites" blog. She has great recipes and ideas and I just loved this idea for using the Christmas tree for one last celebration before taking it down! I went to the dollar store and got a bunch of noise makers and New Years headbands, and then filled all the balloons with some small change for the kids and a joke on a slip of paper. So at "midnight" the kids popped their balloons and gathered the money while we told jokes. So much fun.






We played a game of 2011 headbands. Emily thought of a bunch of famous names of 2011 and we had so much fun guessing!
