Science experiment

We have been doing this fun activity that I found on my cousins blog I think?  or maybe pinterest?  Anyway it was such a success that the kids keep asking to do it over and over again.  I stocked up on baking soda and thankfully it is pretty cheap!  What we did is poured about half a box of baking soda into an 8X8 baking dish, and then I gave them four bowls of vinegar with food colouring in it.  Then they took a dropper or spoon and added the vinegar to the pan of baking soda and watched it bubble up!  They thought this was amazing!  The food colouring definitely made it much more fun.

Right before it got thrown into the garbage!
Part way through, the neighbour popped over for a visit so she got to join in the fun too!

I'm guessing it was from my blog - we LOVED it too! I was totally impressed with the bubbling effect. So much fun :)
