Monochromatic Mondays

I know we have been hearing crickets around here for a while now, but my good friend Alysha challenged me to step up and join her for Monochromatic Mondays!  I am so excited to take the time out of my life one day a week to actually document our days activities. It might not be every Monday, because let's face it, we are all busy and we all have our days. But I will do my best to keep this up so at the very least I can blog once a week. I know I know, you don't believe me and I don't blame you! Ha! We have had a lot of cold days and a lot of sickness in out house this past week. I did have a chance to pull out my camera and snap a few pictures.  And don't mind I am in a total "film" mood today, the more grain the better ;)

Ok and first of all, can I just say how obsessed I am with this little boy of mine?  He has me wrapped around his little finger!  I would do anything for him!  I thought it was so cute that he picked up his sisters' art supplies and started drawing.  It wasn't much, but he felt like a big boy for a few minutes :)

watching cartoons with big sis who was home from school with a fever :(.  not sure why they chose to sit in front of the couch instead of on it...

This shot of him with his dog really speaks to my heart.  No only because of his little pout face at being completely unimpressed that I wanted to take him for a walk on such a cold day ;).  It speaks to me because that dog is is heart and soul. He has carried it around with him for as long as I can remember.  Grandma Taylor gave it to him on his first Christmas when he was 7 months old.  He sleeps with it, he gives it hugs and kisses, he puts it to bed in his crib beside him with extra blankets, plays hide and seek with it, doesn't go to bed without it, and wont come out of his crib without it.  I hope his future wife is ok with this arrangement....
And Jadyn.  Milking every second of being home sick from school.  Pajama days, movies, reading, movies, snacks, movies, forts.  The life.  But she also let me take this shot of her for my photography editing class I am taking this week.  Love how it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed my first monochromatic Monday!
