China

The Pearl Tower

Josh got back on Sunday from his trip to China. It wasn't really a tourist trip so the photos aren't really of tourist attractions, but he had a great time. He had story after story to tell me about how different it is there than he always imagined and always heard. He was in Shanghai, which is a city of over 20 million people! He went to church on Sunday in a 4 story mansion where they have the talks translated into 3-4 languages! He thought it was pretty neat. There are two LDS wards in the whole city with foreign people from all over the world. he met a lot of interesting people on his trip and had a nice time visiting with an old friend, Blaine.

This is the Fudan Universty where Blaine is enrolled in Law school, the only white guy to have ever been in Chinese law!

This is called "The Bund" it's the touristy section of downtown. Beautiful!
