Awesome neighbours!

We feel very lucky to have such wonderful neighbours so I thought I would devote a blog to them! Neighbours on either side and the ones a couple doors down. Next door are Nrooy Sharona and Mrs. Kaler. Jadyn loves to go and visit Mrs. Kaler and have some apple juice, cheese and cookies that she always has ready for her. She is fun to visit with and she loves the girls and the company. She is from India and has a really thick accent that is sometime hard to understand but we just laugh about it. Norry is her son and Sharona is his fiance. Norry and Sharona like to get us out and doing things like snowboarding, skating, making snowmen etc. And two doors down are our munk friends, Chia and Chin. They are also so much fun. They invited us over one day for tea and they had this whole elaborate presentation on how they do it in their culture. They also like to invite Josh over to watch Chinese movies as he is learning Mandarin and it helps him in his vocabulary and pronunciations. Here are some fun pictures from our many adventures with our neighbours. We don't ever want to move away!

This is Sharona and I at our tea party doing the custom pinky up to be lady like.

This is the whole presentation. Jadyn loved the tea and biscuits. (they made it herbal tea just for us)

Norry and Sharona on our snowboarding night at COP

Josh and I that same night.

Jadyn playing with Sharona at their house.

And trying on Norry's ski boots

This is the sweet snowman that Norry and Jadyn built yesterday

Later that day since it was so warm out we looked out the window to see remains on the snowman lying all over the lawn, this is the finished attempt at putting him back together... a swished face never hurt anybody!

And this is Jadyn's buddy Brandon on the other side of us. There are three boys that live there and they all love Jadyn. The feeling is mutual. Ever since we moved in they called her "baby Jadyn" after all she wasn't even born when we moved in so was always a baby to them. Brandon is only three months older but the name sticks. here he is helping baby Jadyn up the "mountain" as he called it by the park where they were playing. So cute!

What a GREAT post!!! I LOVED reading it - such awesome experiences, and so fun for the kids to grow up with that kind of exposure! Sounds like some great times - and you definitely have great neighbours!!

Yay for "the people in your neighbourhood" (yep I'm singing now...mr.roger!!!)
