Well after a couple cranky days Heidi popped her first tooth on Sunday night. It was a memorable event because she is usually not a very fussy baby and is pretty predictable. but all of a sudden out of the blue she started screaming and I couldn't do anything to calm her down for a good 5 minutes, and then it stopped and she was fine again. I was like, what the.....??? So then about a half an hour after that I felt in her mouth as I often do since she likes to chew on my finger and there is a tooth! It wasn't there earlier that afternoon so I am sure that moment of screaming was her cutting the tooth through! Poor thing! So she beat Jadyn by 4 months getting her first tooth.
I also started her on solids a couple weeks ago. I am not very consistent yet because I started early and didn't really intend to, but she was always freaking out when she had to watch us eat dinner and she was so interested in my food, she seems to like it ok so far.
Yesterday we celebrated family day by going to the leisure centre. Cherisa and Jordan and Jordan's little sister, Allison, joined us but since Jordan and his sister arrived about 20 minutes after us and the pool was full to capacity they had to sit out and wait for 45 minutes and we were almost done swimming before they even got in the pool. The pool wasn't even that full, we were kinda ticked!
Apparently Jadyn had a pretty good workout in the water because here is a picture of her on the way home. I have to remind you that this girl since birth has never been a car seat sleeper and when she does fall asleep in the car it is a big event. Here she is not even in her carseat but the little built in seat in my mom's van that doesn't even recline and almost has her sitting forward a bit and she is completely dead to the world! I then took her in the house and she slept for 3 more hours! We should go swimming more often!

looks like some fun times!!! love the photo of her crashed in the carseat...our friend's have a carseat like that in their car - I've always thought it didn't look too comfortable whenever we've had to use it for brooklyn.

Looks like fun at the waterpark! You look great! There is nooooo way you'll see a pic of me in a bathing suit - at least not one that shows my thighs. Swimming's always great for wearing you out though. And it look slike Jadyn really exerted herself...so cute!

OK super uncomfortable seat... I cant believe kids fall asleep in things like that!! and that water place looked sooooooo fun! They only have outdoor ones here so we have to wait till SUMMER but that looked SUPER fun!
