Well our little Heidi is 6 months old already! I can't believe it. At all. It has gone by waaaay too fast! She just makes me smile everyday with all the cute little things she does. Here is a little post about her and what she is up to these days:
-she is sitting up all by herself
-rolling front to back but not back to front
-eating rice, barley and oatmeal cereal along with lots of fruits and vegetables
-her favorite foods are strawberries, carrots, peas and bread when I let her munch on mine sometimes.
-she pretty much attacks me anytime I am near her with food. She loves to experiment new tastes.
-doesn't like any kind of squash
-loves to be on her tummy playing and trying to get moving
-loves to watch her sister Jadyn while she runs around destroying the house
-Jadyn does this little fake laugh in her face and she gets her laughing in return -every time!
-likes to say mamamamamama (I personally think she is saying mom)
-has 2 bottom teeth
-weighs 16 1/2 lbs
-started with blue eyes but they are turning dark, possibly brown like mom.
We love our little Heidi Sariah to bits!!!!
Jadyn is 2 years and 4 months:
Jadyn is such ray of sunshine. She can run around all day and never tire. that kid has sooo much energy! Here is a little bit about her life these days:
-loves to play block, animals, barbies, cars, and ring around the rosey
-can't get enough reading time in a day, she looooves to read anything, childrens books, magazines, food labels, scriptures. Of course all in her own version of the story which isn't always English.
-weighs 26 lbs
loves to go on outings to the library where she likes to read and play on the preschool computer games
-loves to go to the mall play place
-loves to swim
-loves to go to babysitting at the YMCA while mommy works out (OK so this has actually only happened once since Heidi was born but I am turning over a new leaf!)
-adores her little sister, Heidi, and can't stand it when she is napping when she wants to play with her. he aways says "mom, Heidi's awake now with a big smile in hopes that I will go get her from her nap to come and play.... yeah right!
-is getting to be a picky eater but still drinks my green juice most mornings! Her favorite foods are cheese and chocolate.... oh yeah and more recently GUM! I have no idea where she even discovered gum but started asking for it one day and hasn't stopped since!
-likes to do everything "all by self"
-loves to play at the park now that it is warm again, today she ventured onto the "big slide" that she usually hesitates and turns around at the top, but since her "older" friend Liam did it today she decided to give it a shot since she wants to be just like him and follow him around. She bailed at the bottom but laughed at herself anyway.
-loves to play "ready, set, go" which is a game that her and josh invented where they crouch down into starting position and then take off across the kitchen as fast as they can in a big race.... back and forth and back and forth....
-we don't have cable but I get shows from the library for her and her favorites are Barney, Veggie tales, and Dora
-has beautiful bright blue eyes and a killer smile that would knock your socks off!
