We Have Fun

A week ago my sister, Cherisa, and I drove up to Leduc for my cousin, Krystal's, bridal shower. It was fun to hang out with Cherisa and chat on the drive. On the way home Heidi was sick of being in the car and we found that by singing row row row your boat in rounds helped calm her down... or maybe it just distracted us from the noise. Either way I don't think I have sang in rounds since my primary days so it was fun to bring a little spice back to life that day! Thanks Cherisa! :o)

The shower itself was a blast. Those Albers girls are so crazy. We enjoyed a fun night of games and yummy food. Kristi was an awesome hostess as always and Radelle and Kari put on a good show. And I can't forget how fun it was to finally meet Shane and Vanessa's TWO kids! They are so cute. Even Becky showed up with her 4 day old baby, yup 4 days old! What a trooper! Her little baby Hally was definately the life of the party!

At the end of the night Radelle was tired after her big production so she sat down with the WHOLE plate full of cream puffs!

Last week we got together with our old next door neighbours and went to the Oval to skate. That was an adventure with Jadyn who hasn't quite figured out the whole skating thing yet! But it was fun to see them even if we only actually made it around the oval once! Liam is such a cutie and Jadyn adores him. We miss having them so close!

Below are Jadyn and Kayla at the mall. After chasing each other around Old Navy we were finally able to round them up and convince them to continue their playing in the play place. They held hands the whole way there. It was so cute. Best friends already!


Jadyn is getting more adventurous with the gymnastics equipment at the YMCA. Here she is playing around before they caught me with the camera and asked me to put it away. Weird that you can't have a camera there. I never knew. I guess it is good for privacy reasons so you don't get a picture of someone else's child and post it all over the internet??? Come on!

And lastly, as if this post isn't long enough. I wanted to share one of my many favorite moments as a mother that makes me love being a mom more than anything in the world! After feeding Heidi I must have mentioned something about her needing a bath since she is a messy eater. I guess Jadyn overheard and is here saying something about the bathtub to Heidi. Well somehow this is the funniest thing on the planet to say and mom's don't get to be in on the little joke. but it was sure fun to watch them giggle together!
