So technically it is spring right now and as long as the snow continues to dry up and stay that way I will believe it! But since I live in Calgary I am not keeping my hopes up....
Well this year for Easter I planned a little Easter egg hunt for Jadyn but since she got the flu that weekend she was pretty much out of commission. It was an effort to get her out of bed to even come see her Easter basket. But she did muster up enough energy to be excited about her goodies at least. I don't know about anyone else but when my kids get sick they are sooo clingy. I can't leave the room without them bursting into tears and they want to be held all the time so I can't get anything done. It is a lot of pressure for me! The worst is that just as Jadyn was getting over her fever, Heidi got one. but luckily I caught Heidi's early enough, and gave her a homeopathic remedy and hers only lasted a few hours. but for a day or so there they both wouldn't let me out of sight! It would have been sweet if it wasn't so stressful! I am sure glad we are past that!
She was so tired she just fell asleep in Grandma's arms while Nikki was playing the piano in the room. She was sure sick!
I love those taggies blankets that are so popular right now so I decided to be crafty and made my own for Heidi. It turned out pretty cute and she loves playing with it while she falls asleep at nap time and chews on it some more when she wakes up before I come and get her. So it was time well spent. Besides I already had all the ribbon!
Tonight my heart is sad because I just found out that an old friend of mine lost her 4 month old baby to SIDS. It really makes me feel blessed for my sweet daughters that I am able to keep, and my heart goes out to her and her family for their loss. I can't begin to imagine what she is going through right now.

I just wanted to thankyou for coming to support Tarra. I know she apreciates it. I felt bad I did not say hi..I was kind of out of it that day. Thanks a ton though.
Laura, I just found out about Tara. I'm so sad for her. I know (in the tiniest way) what it feels like to lose a baby but I can't imagine how much harder it would be to lose a baby you got to hold and love. It breaks my heart.
p.s. I love the blaket! Did you make it too - or did you just add the taggies to it?
Love your pics esp the one with grandma Glenda. Dont you hate sick kidS!! wELL IT MAKES US APPRECIATE the healthy times. miss you guys. kristy
