9 Months

Today is Heidi's 9 month birthday. this is what she is up to these days:

-crawling all over the place and climbing up on furniture/toys
-eating lots of solids but wont let me feed her. She is very independent in her eating habits and will only feed herself.
-favorite foods: strawberries, pancakes, broccoli, cauliflower, eggs, bread, peas
-hates being in her car seat
-sleeps through the night (11-12 hours) unless she is cutting new teeth
-naps 2, sometimes 3 times a day
-is a mommy's girl
-likes to wave and clap her hands (everyone gets a good kick out of her flopping all wrist wave, I'll have to get a video sometime and post it)
-weighs 19 lbs
-loves bath time, especially with Jadyn
-loves to be outside


Last Saturday we had a garage sale with our neighbours who are moving, and we decided to declutter. It was great weather so we had a lot of fun. Here is Heidi hanging out with Chia, one of our other neighbours.

One day last week I was upstairs doing something and the girls were playing and all of a sudden it got really quiet. After a few minutes I came down o see what they were up to, and this is what I found:


Jadyn found the cookie stash! The guilt is all over her face too! At least she was nice enough to share with Heidi who as you see has one in each hand! Little turkey's.

This weekend Josh's brother Norman was in town so after the garage sale we went out to Strathmore for a family gathering, we stayed overnight and chatted and played all day. Here is Jadyn with cousin Issac "scaling" the fence out back.
