One of those days...

So tonight after josh got home from work he was just playing with Jadyn and I went upstairs to feed Heidi. Jadyn came in the room a few minutes later asking if she could have a bubble bath (we had just bought new bubbles at Superstore earlier today) so I told her I am just feeding Heidi but to go ask Daddy to help her. She hesitated slightly and then off she went. Well only 3 minutes later I came downstairs to Josh who was just walking in the front door. I was a little confused and asked where Jadyn was. he was even more confused but quickly ran outside while I looked in the house. a few seconds later he ran in and said he would be right back and off he took running full tilt down the street (what the...) so I look further down and I see Jadyn down the end off the block, bubbles in hand, with a nice young lady crouched down talking to her (no doubt asking where her negligent parents are!) Poor little girl just did exactly what I said and went to go ask daddy (who had run out to get the mail and asked her to come but she didn't want to go because of course she wanted to stay home and have a bubble bath!) So she had put her shoes on and walked right out the door and it just so happened that on his way back from getting the mail, Josh peeked in the backyard to check out the lawn before he came inside. Jadyn slipped out the door right at that moment to go find him. Scary for about 30 seconds, but I am just so thankful that nice lady wasn't some creepy person, or that she didn't get hit by a car!!!

At least they had fun with the bubbles later...
