August

The month of August went by so fast I cannot even believe it is already September! Summer is come and gone just like that! I am sure we did a lot of really exciting things month that if I had been on it I could have explained it great and exciting detail, but as the days go by my memory slips away (am I getting old?) so you will have to just settle for the run through version instead.

To start of the month I had a very exciting visit from my friend Emily, I don't get to see her much since she moved to Ontario where her husband is in chiropractic school, so when I see her it is very exciting, and her little girl Margo I just Heidi's age (but not size, Heidi about doubles her in body fat!) so it is fun to see them interact with each other and for us to "compare" notes, because thats what mom's do right? So anyway they came for the day and we played outside in the blow up pool. Margo is crazy in the water, she just splashed all around and back and forth having a riot while Heidi screamed every time she got a splash of the cold water on her (she is a true girl)

in between being striped and getting bathing suits on. Gotta love the naked baby pictures (I censored them!)

A couple weekends ago we decided to go down to Waterton to visit Karen and Brad and attempt camping with the two little munchkins (I was really nervous about that!) we ended up just camping at the ranch in Mountainview since we couldn't get a camp site in Waterton, it was even better though since there was a sauna and creek and sand to play in. The girls slept like champs, I was so amazed! We headed up to Red Rock Canyon the next day and hiked all the way to the top where that natural waterslides are. I didn't make it all the way because I had to stay with the kids when the water got to deep to carry them. I love that place! Definitely a family favorite!

Last week we had a ward bbq at the church, it was a lot of fun for the kids! Face painting, games and a magic show! Heidi didn't care for much of anything except the CORN She loves corn on the cob and will only eat it herself no helping allowed or I get yelled at!
