December 2009

I realize that I am waaaaay behind on posting. I have all of December plus the first week on January which we were in Mexico for! There are so many photos and so many things to write about. I will start with the month of December leading up to Christmas. It was such a fun month! I decided that I wanted to try to do something Christmasy each day of the month with the girls or Josh, or both. I didn't get photos of everything nor do I remember everything, but I know I did pretty well, I might have missed a day or to but we mostly did something Christmas each day. It was fun. It's fun as the girls are getting older each year how much more they really "get".

Here are the pictures to document our month. I have to warn you there are a lot of them!

This first one is a little something a friend of mine dropped off for us and it was so cute I had to take a picture!

Jadyn's preschool Christmas concert was so cute. They walked around the gym with their instruments and then sang all sorts of Christmas songs for us, and then Santa showed up at the end which was a big surprise for all the kids. The little boy on the left of Jadyn (her right) is her 4 year old crush. She talks about him all the time and I thought it was cute she managed to score a spot right beside him for the concert! lol! And she was playing shy but the 3rd photo is of her and Heidi with her teachers, they are so wonderful, I could ask for more wonderful people to be teaching her and taking care of her. I am really impressed with this school.

Gingerbread house making. Apparently I was the only one taking it seriously! They had fun putting all the candies on and it looked just like the one on the box... right???

Trimming the tree.

We made a bunch of reindeer candy canes for Jadyn's classmates. This craft was so easy to do and such a hit.

Decorating cookies at the ward Christmas party. I am not sure what Heidi's deal was but I thought it was a funny expression!

Josh and Matthew at the lights festival. It was too cold to take pictures of any of the lights and this was all I got, we didn't stay long...

Decorating more cookies and ornaments at the ballet Christmas party.

Mya with her closest cousin, Abby, at the Taylor family Christmas party.

Obviously we left out cookies and milk for Santa Christmas Eve. We spent the night at Josh's parents house and Santa visited us there in the morning, and also had a stocking waiting at grandma and grandpa Tagg's house later that morning. Spoiled rotten!

Jadyn with her loot. She looks tired but pretty darn happy :)

The kids insisted on cuddling with Mya on the new Princess pillows they got from Grandma and Grandpa Tagg.

And playing around with my new Macro lens josh got me for christmas. Now who's spoiled rotten???

Jadyn gave me this present that she made in preschool. Have I mentioned that I love her preschool? They are so awesome. By far my favorite gift this year!

Some classic gift opening pictures at Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's.

That's a wrap!
