I feel like I have had so much to write about this week, so hear I am back again. And after this post I still have to do my Easter post. I know you are dying in your seats waiting for it. I know I am.
Yesterday we bought Heidi her new strider bike. So far so good, she seems to be loving the "big girl" feel of it, she never really was very good at pedaling her tricycle and it just got frustrating. So this she loves, she was a little hesitant at first, but after a little while she was sitting down and moving along with it. I am sure in time she will be running and gliding around. These bikes are so cool, if you haven't heard of them you need to check them out. Apparently they are really big in the UK but just came to Canada last year. It just gets kids the feel for balancing without having to pedal, and then by the time they have that down pat they can move to a real bike and figure out the pedaling within seconds (so they say). Jadyn is loving going on bike rides lately and I am glad the weather is somewhat cooperating. Hopefully this summer we can teach her how to ride without her training wheels. I have been so bad at taking her out on her bike the last few summers so she hasn't really had much of an opportunity to really learn to ride a bike. This year I am vowing to be better! She can even play around with Heidi's bike to learn some balancing.

Mya is still quite the novelty round here. As you can see, she is really fun to decorate with stickers, and she is a champ at humouring the girls as you can see. Oh and don't mind the mismatched onesie peeking through under her shirt. We're cool like that.

I still had my outside settings on the camera so I am so sat this photo didn't really turn out. Jadyn reading to her baby sister. Mya seemed to be pretty interested in the story. Or maybe she just wanted to eat Cinderella. Either way, Jadyn thought it was pretty fun. In the meantime Heidi had a quick anatomy lesson with her naked doll. Aren't sisters fun?

Our friends swear by the balance bike. Their daughter used one for a few weeks and then switched to a bike without training wheels with no problems. I've considered getting one for the kids, so let us know how it goes!
The girls are all darling.
Adam's oldest sister didn't learn to ride her bike (without training wheels) until she was 10. So don't feel bad about Jayden not riding yet.
ooohh i will have to look into those bikes! cute idea!! (of course, they will likely suck on gravel I guess....)
I LOVE the last picture!! I cant believe you are a mom of 3!!
we saw the strider bike last summer at a parade...they are definitely fun and seem to be a great idea :)
cute that mya is so cooperative with the girls - she'll get them back when she's older and wants to wear their clothes and makeup. LOL I bet she's keeping track of all this.
cute photos
Oh I've been wanting a strider bike for a while...do you think Hailey will still use one this summer? Where did you buy yours?
I love the stickers on Mya - I have a few pictures like that with Paige. Fun times.
I love that you are blogging lots lately!!!
We bought Ella a strider bike last year. Ella hardly used it but hopefully she uses it tons this year Bobby is already trying to use it. I love the pink one we had to get red even though I think Bobby would look cute on a pink bike!!!
Meagan we bought ours from a lady who sells them out of her house in Scenic Acres.
Hailey we saw the bikes at the Raymond parade too!
I've heard a lot about those bikes lately. They seem really neat and the idea of them is ingenious.
