I was downstairs on the computer while Mya was napping and the girls were doing their thing. It suddenly got unusually quiet upstairs and so I wandered up to see what mischief they might be in. I walked up quietly so I wouldn't be heard but there were apparently still some footstep heard because out of Heidi's mouth I hear her whisper:
"I hear a shark coming" (I am not sure when I became a shark?)
and then Jadyn whispers, "I'll go check" (meanwhile I am standing still waiting...) and I suddenly see Jadyn's head pop up over the island. Then immediately pop back down.
Busted!
More whispering and shh-ing
So I walk over and try to sneak over the other side to see what they are up to. I peek over the side and there they each are holding...

measuring cups.... hmmmm.
What's inside?
Well inside Jadyn's is no doubt. Sugar. Not a big surprise.
In Heidi's measuring cup? Dry pearled Barley.
Both are eagerly eating it and both looking quite guilty.
I think I have one daughter with a sweet tooth, and one daughter who just plain old likes to eat.
The culprit?

These lovely storage bins that Josh bought to store all out dry goods. They have been quite handy and only rarely will the kids get into them, they pretty much know they are off limits. The sugar we could probably put somewhere else, although Josh insists it should be there, the rest is fine by me. I love seeing them getting into the rolled oats as if they have committed a deadly sin.
Not too long later, I hear them giggling in the bathroom again, I go in to find this.

And yes they did both "do their deed" while sitting together on the toilet. I guess it isn't only a boy thing. They seem to have thought this was pretty funny. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a habit, I can only imagine the potential mess it might lead to...
Um, Ok.
Onto other things...
Like Mya. She is learning how to sit by herself finally.

Well...
Sort of.PS can you tell by these last few photos that we live in a very girly house?
