The little ladies of the house

I think it is time to do an update of these girlies. They are changing so much all the time and I can hardly keep up. I cannot get enough of each of these girls, they fill my life! I am so lucky and I love them to bits! I need to feature each of them for our family journal so here it is:

Jadyn 4 1/2 (nickname: Jadster. Origin: no clue!)

-lives in a fairy tail land, that is an understatement.
-loves candy and anything sweet
-loves her sisters and being the BIG sister
-loves to be busy and asks every morning what day it is (preschool day, ballet day, YMCA day etc.)
-will not wear long sleeves inside, she is a short sleeve girl, she will fight me to the death on this one and if I win and make her wear a sweater out the door, it comes off the minute we walk inside anywhere (even the grocery store!)
-hates having her hair brushed and used to cry every day until I told her I would cut it off if she kept it up (mean mommy but she doesn't cry any more!) on the other hand she loves having her hair done in clips and pony-tales etc. Such a girl.
-is full of personality
-loves to learn
-loves listening to stories (daddy tells her stories almost every night about princesses and mermaids and crocodiles (they always want crocodiles...?) and lets them have some input into how the story goes, and she is always included in the story as Princess Jadyn or some sort of other fairy tale girl)
-is learning her articles of faith and has the first 4 memorized
-can write her name and a few other words and loves practicing writing.-loves to bake with me
-loves to create things with playdoh
-loves to swim
-loves to ride her bike
-loves to play make believe
-is kind, loving, thoughtful and inquisitive. She is at the stage where she is really thinking about the world around her and often asks me questions about how things work (for example "how do the clouds move")

-sometimes tells me in the car "be careful mom, don't crash!" (I can't imagine why?)
-likes the cold side of the pillow and turns it over to make sure she gets the cold side. (just like her mom and dad :)
-is very social and loves to have play dates
-is fascinated with worms when it rains
-loves to pick dandelions
-loves having her photo taken and often asks me to come take a picture of her doing crazy things. She also like to pose and make funny faces, like these:



-loves painting her nails all different colours
-favorite colour is pink, of course
-favorite book is Pinkalicious
-favorite movie: Anything to do with Princesses or Barbie!
-is very helpful around the house (except when she is distracted in her fairy-tail land and doesn't hear me speaking to her!)I don't know what I would do without this little lady in my life!
