Big day!

On Wednesday we had a big day at our house! Jadyn graduated from preschool and is off to Kindergarten in the fall! They had a cute ceremony for the class that day and the kids were so adorable in their graduation hats! AND I found out today that Jadyns wonderful teachers who I ADORE, are also going to be Heidi's teachers in the fall!






That same night was also Jadyn and Heidi's ballet recital. All through the program I kept thinking to myself that I am glad that we aren't continuing with dance (Jadyn isn't interested anymore and Heidi we are just going to do for another year or two until she is old enough to do other things) but when they came on stage I was a little sad that we aren't! they were so cute!!
It's not that there was anything wrong with the recital, it's just that as they get older, the music they are dancing to, what they are wearing, and some of the moves... well I just don't want my girls to be a part of that!

I was a little nervous that Heidi would walk on stage and see all the people and get nervous and just stand there, but she surprised me and finished the whole way through, in fact she was the last one off stage, she didn't seem to want to get off!

ps my friend Mika made the entire costumes (except the headbands which I made) she is so talented!!!

pps. After Jadyn's preschool wrap up picnic party this morning, she asked if she could plant her flower balloon in the garden, of course I said sure, and then forgot about it, until I cam home from grocery shopping later on. What a doll!
