On the first day of school I figured I would pick Jadyn up instead of sending her on the bus, I hadn't even shown her the bus stop where she would be getting off, and I wanted to be there when she came out on the first day! It was special! I can't believe I have a kindergartener! Anyway, so we walked by the busses all lined up and she asked which one would be hers, so I showed her, and wouldn't you know it she just hopped right on that bus and sat down in the front seat, ignoring all my protests. What an independent little thing. I tried to talk her out of it and tel her that I am driving her home today and she wouldn't have anything to do with it. She told me that she is taking the bus and she is not getting off. So I ended up having to get on the bus myself and CARRY her off the bus kicking her legs all over the place. WOW. She was determined! All the ride home she kept a frown on her face and reminding me that she is "NOT happy". Needless to say the rest of the week she has been really enjoying riding the school bus home!
Heidi also started preschool this week. She loved her first day. She already knew the teachers since they are the same teachers Jadyn's had for preschool last year, the ones I absolutely LOVED! So she knew their names and faces and the first day went really smoothly. She is such a big girl.
Heidi also started ballet again for the year. Jadyn isn't in the class but I have a feeling she might want to join at some point, we'll see.
The pre - school haircuts:

All ready outside the school! (Yes I let her wear socks with her crocks, only because she would be changing into her shoes inside :)
Her friend Meg from church, who isn't in her class this year but they are both in the afternoon, and ride the bus together.
Jadyn's friend Avi from her preschool class last year, they are also in the same class this year!
And Heidi on her first day of preschool!
And after she came home, showing off her artwork. (the left side says "this is Heidi" and the right side says "This is Jadyn") She also made two fruit loop necklaces, one for her which she is wearing, and one she brought home for Jadyn. Sweet little girl was thinking of her big sister all afternoon!
And all ready for the first day of Ballet!
Loves dancing in front of that mirror!
