FAIL... or success?

It depends on the way you look at it I guess. I had the studio all set up from a newborn session yesterday so I got the girls all dressed up in their new duds and ATTEMPTED a photo shoot. I realize that one at a time, they are not too hard to take pictures of, but all by myself with all three of them is nearly impossible! So if I am looking for some nice photos of my girls smiling sweetly, doing as they are told and holding still all together like one big happy bunch of sisters, then I failed miserably. but if I am looking for photos of their true personalities and how they interact with each other on a daily basis, and how they couldn't care less that I have the studio all set up with expensive equipment that all they wanted to do was climb all over, then it was a success! Regarless, I am going to share some photos so we can all have a little laugh at me and my vain attempts!

Not bad except Mya's deer in headlights look...

I actually loved this one until I realized that someone must have rubbed a balloon across Jadyn's hair when I wasn't looking...

She started out with a cute headband in her hair, but this is the look you get when you rip it out my dear!

It is way more fun to throw yourself into the backdrop and laugh while it keeps you suspended off the floor!

The upside down Jadyn look. Cute, but not what I was going for...

This one isn't bad of Jadyn but I don't like how the backdrop is wrinkled and I think i could have gotten a better expression out of her? I'll think on this one!


And I've completely lost all 3 of them!

After a little edit, I actually was happy with this random one of Mya. her dress matches her eyes, and I like that!

And I guess I can't blame the kids, I didn't cooperate very well either! now bad though for a 5 year old right? In focus and everything! Though she almost dropped my camera after because it is so heavy!

Heidi could use a little more practice with her focusing skills...

And the rest of these were taken after I had gotten the studio ready for the newborn shoot on Friday afternoon and I wanted to use Mya to test out my new backdrop. (Isn't it to die for?!) anyway she clearly wasn't feeling it then either!



But it sure is fun to play!






One of these days my goal is to get a great shot of the three of them all together, because I have plans for a massive canvas in my living room!!! (one can wish right?)
