Later when the house was a little more quiet, Josh left for work, and Karen and the kids went home, then we made cupcakes! Tomorrow my mom is having a bunch of family over and I am in charge of dessert. Mya and Heidi wanted to help. They are such great helpers! (Ok Heidi actually is and Mya is learning to be!) Jadyn was busy in her own little world of castles, princesses, princes, and royal carriage rides to notice. I had to pull the camera out at the end when I found Mya had gotten a hold of a little prize of her own! And of course a few snapshots of the girls tonight while they played. They were just all in such a great moods that I couldn't resist :)

We do a lot of "painting" in this house. The girls love it, even Mya joins in regularly. I mean why not? It's mess free!! (For the record, we also paint for real sometimes too it's just not an every day thing)
Water painting on the chalkboard = easy cleanup! The only problem is that eventually the chalkboard finish wears, but who cares when it is just a $25 ikea easel?
