Canada Day weekend

On Canada Day, we headed up to Airdrie for the parade. Small town/city parades are much better than Calgary because there aren't nearly as many people and they throw out candy for the kids! They loved it. We met up with their cousins and went over for lunch afterward too. We enjoyed a yummy Canada Day cake for dessert made by yours truly. I couldn't resist ;) Then that same weekend we celebrated Josh's grandpa's birthday with almost all the cousins in town to celebrate. That doesn't happen very often. We have had Josh's oldest brother Norm's family in town for the last week and for the next week too. It is so nice to be able to spend time with them, as well as the other Alberta cousins who came into town!
