Ward Campout

A couple weeks ago we went for a ward campout. It was the first of the summer for us. It was freezing at night and Mya didn't sleep well. I hope it was just because it was cold and not because she doesn't like camping. I guess we will find out soon since we have a week long camping trip coming up! The kids had a lot of fun camping with all their church friends. A live local band for a bumping dance in the evening was a highlight! The theme was a pioneer one this year and they did a special presentation on the Saturday morning with the Joseph Smith story. They had different people acting out Joseph at different ages, his mother, Martin Harris etc. It was really special. It took me a while to sort through all the photos since we have been so busy enjoying the summer!

Doing the chicken dance!

Remember when Heidi used to be obsessed with dogs? She passed it onto Mya. And cats, and horses, and any animal really, but they are all called "puppies" :)

Group shot of the ward! So many people came, it was so fun!
