Last saturday I picked up a good find at a garage sale for Jadyn. I have been wanting to get her a little play set for the backyard so it was a no brainer when I saw it there. I was so excited. (Probably more excited than Jadyn is!)
I was just thinking these last few days how much I love summer time. The sunshine and outdoor activities that are so exciting! For the long weekend this past weekend we went down to Waterton (again) to visit Karen and Brad and play in town a bit. Josh and Brad got to golf while Karen, Jadyn and I sat by the lake and had a picnic lunch. Later in the day when we all met up again we drove around town in the bike carts. One of my favorite memories of Waterton as a child is driving around town in these things, I always thought they were the neatest thing. So we relived the childhood memories this week! Then we played Canasta all night in the hotel. We are a big gaming family. Can't beat an evening surrounded by family playing some good ol' cards.
