It started with these beauties. I had to draw and cut out each piece based on the online pattern which I have no idea where I found, just in case you are wondering, sorry.

And the dress...
Ideally I would have a whole cute wardrobe full of homemade dresses and outfits for all their many barbie dolls, but man I would get nothing done around here!
Pretty much a perfect zipper application if I do say so myself!
And good grief someone has got to do something about that barbies hair! Maybe I will work on that before Jadyn gets home! Oh maybe if I pull out the piece of thread that will help.
There you have it. A whole days work, but not bad eh? Oh and I added the piece on the bottom that is a different fabric, I thought the dress was looking a little too short for my kids to be playing with if they want the right idea about modesty, so I added that in later. Oh and on that note, I totally meant to put on sleeves but it was just all getting to be a little too much and the sleeves were so tedious, so I had to skip them for this time. (By the way I am trying to get Josh to do a blog post about his trip to Peru, it just wouldn't be the same if I wrote about it, and I want it included in our book!)
